Seen on my walk.

The tide is unusually high because of the combined effect of the tide, the wind, and melting snow up river.

The small boat pontoons are underwater where they are hinged

The Red Cross have put their search and rescue RIB back in the water

One of the picnic tables is only centimetres above the water

And here is today's outfit, just a light top under the jacket was enough.



But the skirt, like yesterday's, is too narrow for comfortable walking so when got home I added it to the list of things I have for sale online and switched to another.

This is a skirt I made from a cushion cover bought at IKEA for 19 NOK (1.50 GBP. 1.70 EUR, 1.95 USD). I made it so that the zip opens at the bottom so even though it is not actually much wider than the long skirt it can be effectively shortened as much as I like.
