In what country do you live? I'm in North Carolina in the USA. The sun is shining today and haven't had any snow yet.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Mbingh01 I'm much further north, just below 60° north in Norway. No sunshine that day, yesterday, or today. Today it was -10 C (14 F) with a northerly breeze making it feel like -14 C (7 F) according to the weather report..
I used to visit Raleigh quite often on business (one year I did eight two week trips). I don't remember there ever being much snow although there were some days in the winter when it was icy.
We haven't got much, after several days of light snowfall we only have about 100 mm (4 inch). The north of the US gets a lot more than we get in my part of Norway. And in recent years we have had less and less snow. Even the ski resorts are suffering. Lillehammer (where they had the Winter Olympics) has only half a meter of snow (20 inches) at the top of most the lifts, half as much as normal.
We might get another 24 mm of snow tomorrow, Wednesday.

I left you making apple cider and now whoa the whole landscape in snow!
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Boeing And the cider was a disaster compared to previous years.
We'll have more snow tomorrow, perhaps as much as 35 mm! :-) Hardly anything really.
How's the weather where you are? I nearly said in Greece but then it occurred to me that the winter climate must vary wildly between the southern islands and the mountains in the north.

@ninalanyon ah so sorry for the cider, the project looked so promising!
From the picture that is way too much snow for my snow tolerance lol
It's alright here, it's gotten too cold because there are Turkey's mountains just across the sea and they're all filled with snow on top.
But then it rained and temperatures gotten up again. Luckily I got AC in the room now :)

@Boeing The snow is just deep enough to cover the grass. I threw a stale bread roll out of the window for the birds an hour or two ago and it bounced off the ground the snow was so thin.

Looks delightful and the snow makes it look more attractive
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@skimpyboy It does, it makes the whole scene so much lighter.
