please bring back groovy culture!!! no more dark and edgy!!

You know what I'm sick and tired of? Like, really sick and tired of dark, edgy, and violent pop culture. I mean, the real world is messed up enough. And here's the thing: I am not a censorship guy. I think everybody should have the right to say whatever they want in pop culture— in any culture, to be honest— because, you know, freedom of speech, freedom of expression. But what I mean is, why does every little thing gotta be so… I mean, it's just, once in a while, I would like groovy to come back, you know what I mean? Like, bright colors, flowers, happiness, you know? Yeah, it may be a little corny maybe, but at least it'd be super refreshing and not so dark. Does anyone else feel this way? I want the groovy culture from the 1960s to come back in our pop culture. I really, really do.

I agree. You notice how most cars are black or white now? They used to be bright and colorful.
And the fast food places all look like prisons now. They used to look lively and fun.

@AbbeyRhode I was talking to the boy about this a couple weeks ago. I’d like to see more beautiful shades of colors like we had a 2-3 decades ago.

I am old enough to remember when groovy was still mainstream, like Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, Monkees, saturday morning cartoons, etc., some of it was fun as a kid in the 70's, but looking back as an adult, HOLY FUCKING CRINGE 😶

@NativePortlander1970 come on man I have to hear that word all the time from my generation please don't say cringe it's okay to love something I don't understand this whole cringe slang
@weirdbeatnik I lived through it, groovy wasn't just some kumbaya movement or concept, it was a mindset that borderlined between laziness and insanity.
