Today I'll visit Chester because I have a very specific bit of shopping to do and it's the nearest place i can do it.

I'm a week early for Chester Pride so I'll miss that.

There is a Pride event tomorrow in Stafford which is not far away but it's more of a festival style with an entry fee rather than a parade.

@turbineman40 Do you have similar things where you are? I've just had a quick count and realized that the one in Stafford makes it five Pride like events for me so far this holiday!

@turbineman40 You should go. If they are anything like the ones I have been to here you will quickly fall into conversation with someone. I had long conversations with two people in the parade today and exchanged compliments with several others. It's delightful to simply be in such a big group of people all being happy.
