Been up for over an hour and still in my undies. The big decision of the day is the same every day: what to wear :-)

I'm going to drive up to Turton for a walk and to visit the cafe at Turton Tower that has been advertised incessantly on Radio Caroline for the last several months.

I have no idea if it's any good, it's just that i find having a specific goal helps motivate me. Quite often I end up not reaching it because I get distracted by something more interesting on the way.

I was in Aldi this afternoon on the way back from sightseeing when I passed the health and beauty section and thought I'd check to see if they have any L'Oreal Revitalift SPF 30 pro-retinol face cream. I've been using it for about year now and i think it really has smoothed out a few of my wrinkles. Aldi didn't have any but in the usual Aldi fashion they have a product that is packaged to remind you of the original. It's branded Lacura and is in a box exactly the same size as the Revitalift and the jars inside are almost identical. The product is described in much the same terms; in particular it says it contains pro-retinol. Neither Aldi nor L'Oreal say how much or exactly which. Anyway the Aldi version is between two thirds and half the price of the L'Oreal depending on exactly where you buy the L'Oreal; so I bought a day cream and a night cream.

My question is: does anyone know if Aldi's version is as good as L'Oreal's?

Turton tower is not far from me and very nice with big grounds and some woodland , looking online cafe looks nice .

@skimpyboy Those were taken on a disused and overgrown bridge over the railway. But it's only a few metres from a wide stony path so you'd need to keep a lookout.
