Elliptical trainer: 55 minutes, 14.5 virtual km, 15.8 kph, unknown steps

The pedometer on my mobile stopped working so I don't know how many steps it thinks I did. It does this sometimes, just need to reboot. One day I'll get around to resetting my mobile to factory settings to get rid of all the junk.

Glorious blue sky today but only 8 C because it was clear all night. Still I might brave a miniskirt when I go out.

Today's outfit must have looked a little incongruous to the people I passed in the street as I walked to and from the shops. They were almost all dressed in winter clothing, quite a few with woolly hats and walking boots while I was wearing a a red miniskirt and red nail varnish on my toes.

The top is a sort of black velvet and the pile has a very pronounced direction like a cat's fur. So when you stroke it one way it feels smooth, and the other way feels rough. But compared to a cat it is backwards. Stroking up is smooth and down is rough. I have it tucked in to my skirt and the result is that the skirt rides up as I walk. I've just measured it. I adjusted it as I think it should be and the hem was 61.5 cm from the ground. After walking around in the house for a few minutes it has ridden up to 63.5 cm, 2 cm higher!
