Today's outfit is a flared skirt, a top covered in bronze coloured beads, a nice warm coat lined with teddy bear fur, and a cardigan with a strip of fur down both sides.
A couple of tables away there was a group of six people, two mothers, three immaculately made up late teenage girls, and one boy of about twelve I think.
It looked like a very awkward occasion. One of the girls looked extremely bored and the boy appeared not to take part at all in what little conversation there was.
I wonder how often my three boys felt equally bored when out with my wife and me?
