Life in Scotland

Another wet night in Kilmarnock had a busy day and had my shopping delivered cleaned the house but don't need it I just spend my day finding things to do most of the time apart from playing games on my laptop.

Kilmarnock - oh my, memories. I worked on the New Farm development in the early 70s. Great memories of lunches at Brodie's "Wee Thack." And of Brodie, the main character.

@ffony sounds like you got some great memories

@Mark12 There was a construction gang on the new watermain going into (?) Ardeer. They had a site hut beside the road at a roundabout. Collected a lot of things that literally 'fell off a lorry.' Their word for that kind of fortuitously acquired stuff, was 'pruch' or 'prugh'. One time the pruch was a box of black puddings; barely hit the road before they were sizzling in the pan.

Some actual Scots with Dougie McLean, singing his "Wee love song."
