And The Rollercoaster Continues

Having to take care of and watch a love one deteriorating before your eyes is extremely painful.
I have experienced it three times mother, father, mother in law.
Watching your spouse or significant other has to be on another scale.

Sister is still on rollercoaster of wanting him one more day and just wanting him to be out of pain.
All hopes of a recovery long gone.

On the pain meds he sleeps as they wear off he is troubled, agitated, sometimes, and mostly confused.

Glimpses of the old Greg come out occasionally when he manges to say something coherent and what a false hope it sometimes brings!

This cancer is a monster.

Im so sorry for the stress your family is going thru. Its something we all worry about will happen to a loved one. I hope when he goes, he goes peacefully and that soon your family can heal. I went thru three deaths with my parents and niece. It was very hard. Best wishes to you all.💐

My heart goes out to you, I understand the pain of losing people you love and that you need in your life.
I cared for my mom a short period of time when she was diagnosed with cancer, then my dad moved in with us and I cared for him for almost five years after my mother passed away. He passed away from COPD and he had never smoked a cigarette in his life. Nothing was harder than watching him trying to breath.

In the last few years I've lost two of my brothers a nephew and several first cousins.

I'll be praying for you find the strength that you will need to get through each and every day.
