Brainstorming ideas for new blog

I just recently looked into the idea of starting my own blog. I have always been told I am a strong writer, and I genuinely do try to believe in myself. However, I'm not certain if I'm good enough to be successful at something like that. I have searched for niche topics online to see what people started writing their blogs about, they seem to write about their field of expertise. I did not go to college, and am not certified in anything. Most of my work experience is in customer service. I thought to write about that, but thought that just seemed like to vague of a topic that I'll eventually run out of ideas to talk about. Although I dont have much knowledge to offer, I do have a lot of experience with life. Definitely not the most, as I am only 26 and still have much of life left to live. But I have experienced a lot of crazy moments, been brought through and can talk about life experiences for days and days - which can branch out into so many other topics. Does anyone think this is a good idea? Please let me know your suggestions, thank you :)

A lot of the successful bloggers I've seen are successful because they never gave up, and just kept posting about random things. If you love writing, love sharing your everyday life or a passion you have, you CAN make it. But it takes dedication, there's a lot of competition and you need to find out who you want your "audience" to be. 馃ス

@Cassieeeee Early bird catches the worm, and no much worms available for late bloomers. No proper guidance as to how to share and rank higher. Keywords is another big headache. Finding a niche is not that easy. Not suitable for freelancers who wish to make a living, unless they have a good financial support and time.

@in10RjFox Even tho that's true, it's still not impossible, but it takes a lot to get a following and frequent readers. I managed to get a good amount of followers at some point on insta, but then I stopped engaging and took a (years) break from trying, even deleted a lot of the followers I had gotten, and now I'm lucky if I even get 5 likes on a photo 馃槀 So consistency, dedication and patience is needed.. Also depends on what platform she wants to use.

@Cassieeeee Insta is different. Much easier than blog, as there are no reels or quick browse for blogs. We can link blogs to fb, twitter, LinkedIn, but gets hardly noticed. And not easy to get likes these days. And there is a network now for which you need to pay. There are people earning money just to click on link all day and earn money from it.

@in10RjFox Yea, I had a blog before insta, but went over to insta after you had to pay to use their site^^

@Cassieeeee Would you like to start on Insta again and make short videos? I can offer you some niche content.

@in10RjFox I'm still on insta and have a niche, but now I'm only using it for myself and whoever feels like following along can, but I'm not trying to become an influencer or make money of it rn馃ス

@Cassieeeee thank you Cassie, that鈥檚 one thing I鈥檓 just a bit confused about. If I鈥檓 just starting out and I don鈥檛 have an audience, how do I appeal to one?

@Edashh2399 It depends on what platform you're using. But if you're thinking of starting a "regular" blog, I would advice you to open some sort of social media as well, that way you can try to attract a following and send them to your blog. The more views your blog gets, the more likely it is that other people will start seeing it as well. But it's hard starting out.
