In case SW might close in the future, what can I do about my articles I wish to save?

I have written something like 3,227 articles here and I found out that I can't get them all in one bundle and save them from here. They said that they don't have a way to do that here and that really bothers me, because I want them all and I worked so hard on them. I don't know how to get them all into one file. It seems like when I transferred my posts over from EP, I was looking at them and it seemed like the whole article was not there, so that really concerns me and so I asked the staff if I could have all my articles that I wrote here, sent to me and they said they can't do that, but also my EP articles were sent in a zip file and I don't know how to unzip them. I don't understand that technical stuff, but somehow I was able to click on a post I had written and got to read it, but it just didn't seem the same. I just want them sent to me an easy to open format, like esch article would be in pdf form and also have it so that if I wanted to copy my articles, I could also do that from the pdf document , but it looks like I'm going to lose all my articles and that really bothers me, cuz I wanted to make a book of them for myself, so I could hand them down to my daughters and grandchildren. I wish I had a solution. I just can't copy them all one by one, that would take forever. I've always been good with doing everything else on the computer it seems, but I don't like these deals where you have to unzip things and make it more complicated. And then it seems like if they send it to me in a zip file, I have a time trying to get it to open and all that stuff and I just hate it. There has to be a better way.

There is a Firefox add-on called Single file that can save the page as it is shown as an HTML web page file. You can set it up so that when you bookmark a page it will save the page as well. That way you just need to visit the page and press Control-D. A bit tedious for thousands of pages but it does work. I use it a lot especially if I have written a long reply in an argument where my reply or the comment I am replying to is at risk of being deleted. I also use it to save my SW blog entries and private messages partly in case SW goes out of business but also because it is easier to search the content on my own computer than here on SW.

To view a saved page you just open it with your web browser.

You can find the the add-on here: https://github.com/gildas-lormeau/SingleFile

SingleFile can be installed on:

- Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/single-file
- Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/mpiodijhokgodhhofbcjdecpffjipkle
- Microsoft Edge: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/efnbkdcfmcmnhlkaijjjmhjjgladedno

As for zip files all you have to do is find them in your computer with WIndows Explorer or other file manager and double click it then the computer will show the content. But it might not be in a useful format.
@ninalanyon Thank you dear so much for all your time and trouble to help me like this. I am going to save all your information you gave me on my tablet. That was just so sweet of you. ⭐❤️🤗

@LadyGrace If you are only using a tablet and not a computer then I'm not sure if it's possible to install the SingleFile add-on. Worth trying though. Good luck.

If you ever find another way of doing it please post it on SW so that the rest of us can use it too!
@ninalanyon Realistically, I'm not very good at things like that. I have begun to save what posts I write that are important to me, in Microsoft Quick Notes on my tablet. I don't have an iPad. It's no hassle and easy for me.
