I Like to Blog
So you may or may not know about me already I like to write. Emails, stories, blogs, texting... whatever way I can. I even keep a couple of journals and try to hand write whenever I can. I feel handwriting is more of a special touch and energy goes into the page.
But I digress.
So when I am emailing or texting with someone and they are coming fast and furious with questions, answers, opinions, you know communication back and forth you expect any questions or comments to be responded to. Or at least I know I do.
Case in point, I have my Love, who is of course very attentive to my idiosyncrasies of knowing this and will comment that he is driving now, or attending to whatever and won't be answering for awhile. You know kinda like if your on the phone having a conversation and you say your salutations before hanging up. IT IS COMMON COURTESY.
On the other hand I have other friends who email me to touch ba<x>se and politely I answer. The pleasantries ensue, how are you? What have you been up to? What is up with this weather? Then to the meat of the story and why they are really reaching out. In my case it is normally some relationship issue that they are having and want my honest opinion. Again the emails go back and forth, fast and furious, I ask a question and wait for the answer. Nothing. I wait a bit longer. Nothing. I go to bed and stay up a bit longer then usual wanting to be a friend for them if need be. Nothing.
Now I get people have lives. Things happen. Batteries die, Cable goes out, hell electricity goes out. But this is a common occurrence with this particular friend. So I told them.
I mean that would be like being on the phone with someone and just finishing a thought or sentence and hanging up. No goodbye.. gotta go... kiss my ass or nothing. Just hang up. The only better thing about the phone version at least I get a dial tone so I can go to sleep knowing they are not there anymore. Geez!
