Its called seeking ur attention, i would know ive done the same

Not here, but on Facebook I will typically cancel the friend request to an old-old friend/person I think I know if not responded to for a month or so.

After 10 ... 20 ... 30+ years people change and to pop them with a "remember me?" can be an infringement on someone who may now be a very different person, and possibly my being a part of the history they wanted to leave behind.
Memories of those days gone by. They likely thought you were hot back then, kinda had a crush on you, but too shy to tell you. I remember a few from highschool I was drooling over, but never asked them out, or had any clue how to even do that. hah
If I could only go back in time.. but then present day would change, and might not be for the better, so maybe it is best to let sleeping dogs lie (lay?).

I think it’s to get your attention. If they sent them once you might just cancel them. If they do it themselves it makes you ask these questions.

I’d say it’s probably because you’re attractive and they’re hopeful but nervous

@StevetheSleeve how do you know if they are or not or even know if it is a genuine female from a blank profile
HumanEarth · F
Think they have a chance in hell with you. They are most likely thinking if you see them you would fall madly in love with them and sweep them off their feet.

That's my idea

That's another reason not to have Facebook. It's a spying tool in my book. Never had it, never will

Hmmmmmm
Probably because they sent it& you didn't respond so they think they need to keep reminding you so eventuality you'll give in & accept

They are either mentally unstable or it’s not even them at all.. there’s a lot of fake impersonator pages on fb these days
