I watched an interview with Mark Carney last night. It was the coolest, most measured and rational response you could hope to hear at a time of immense political stress. No bluster, no covering-up, just confident, responsible statesmanship. Made me feel quite optimistic after the past week.

He was a superb Governor of the Bank of England (although politically unpopular because of his warnings about the economic impact of Brexit) and I think his time has come.

@SW-User We are living in a disaster because of the Liberals and I have every expectation that the Conservatives WILL be elected and that they will over time repair the damage the Liberals have done to this county.. one exception is I am afraid the horrible immigration that the Liberals allowed we may be stuck with... if it can be undone to some extent and these people forced to leave Canada ... so much the better..
