Oh why oh why

@CestManan Years ago we had neighborhoods where everyone knew each other and looked out for one another no matter who you voted for. Granted another contributing factor was the one income family and moms held the neighborhood together. But aside from that I blame tech the internet and the media for tearing us apart more than DC. Think about it. The media brings the propaganda to us more than the single mouth of any politician could.

@Gibbon Yeah I mean people forget - if real life were anywhere near as bad as the internet acts like it is, things would be way different.

The media is just trying to make MORE profits, usually by way of rage-bait.

All the "horrible catastrophes" we see on the web and media - we never would have heard about nor had the opportunity to be enraged otherwise. 😂

I think the best question I heard on the subject - someone on here said, "Does it really affect your daily life?"
In my case, no.

@CestManan Yes that definitely fits things we hear about. Supposedly the only things that affect us we allow to. But I know that's not completely true. There are some things we have no control over our feelings for. Grief for me is the best example. We are all different and affected by it differently in depth and time. But it's also experienced and not just something we react to because we heard about it. It's a 100% individual feeling and reaction.

@Gibbon Oh, I didn't mean bumbles, I meant mine... no yours is around. I see him occasionally. He reminds me of someone who is a catfish that enjoys playing roles around here. I dont care to interact with him.

@BizSuitStacy Well I know your posts and can almost 100% guarantee he blocked you long ago. That all makes sense now that I think about it. I don't know why he continued to battle with me so long.

@WillaKissing I lost her Feb 11 2023. We didn't marry and saw no reason to. We didn't need that piece of paper to be happy together. With the loses of family parents and friends I never knew the true depth of grief until I lost her.
