How long has it been since Twitter became X and people and media STILL have to clarify that when they reference X they're talking about Twitter?

If I see the letter "x" by itself (not as part of a word) I assume either it means 'times' (multiplication) or it is a variable (which needs to be defined). Both of those things, of course, make no sense in the context of an article, title, and/or in speech therefore they have to say it means TWITter.

lol exactly. He made took one of THE most recognizable brands around and turned it so generic that people keep forgetting what X means without context. 馃槅
