I couldn't stop crying
Jeremy must have preordered some snacks for the game today to feed an entire family. They got dropped off around 5:30.
I didn't think much about it at first as I unloaded the bags… chips, cheese, sausage, corn puffs.
Then I pulled this out of the bag.
And I just stood there in the kitchen holding it, completely falling apart. I couldn't stop crying.
It's strange how the smallest things can hurt the most. Things that would normally mean absolutely nothing suddenly carry the weight of everything you've lost.
Just another reminder that he was here. That he was planning for today. That he had no idea he wouldn't be here to enjoy the game with us. 💔
