Start of the new English Premier league season

@nedkelly Ronaldo seems to be sulking, but I remember Ten Hag saying he wouldn’t want Ronaldo before he was even appointed, so that probably didn’t help! You get the impression that if they can’t get Ronaldo focussed, they’ll struggle to be near the top 4, I also think there’s a risk that there’s maybe another 2 or 3 teams on top of Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea & spurs who are also better than them 😬 Arsenal & Newcastle could finish above them for sure?

@SW-User I think they need to cut their losses on Harry Maguire, maybe Rashford too. I also think sometimes that De Gea isn’t the best, he’s a good shot stopper but has no presence and has no influence on the defence.

@nedkelly definitely need a new Roy Keane!! N’Golo Kante at Chelsea is a tough player, don’t think Chelsea would let Man Utd have him though! Wolves seem to be selling all their players, maybe try a late offer for Neves?

@KrakM he does know where the net is though doesn’t he - I reckon a properly motivated Ronaldo who is working hard for the team could get 25 goals in the prem. Even at age37.

@Chrisy3 They are investing heavily and if you are interested in English football I would recommend you watch it. It is a real eye opener about the state if the game outside the premier league.

Well, they won their first game, so the hope is still there at the moment! 👍 they’re better than a lot of teams but I reckon Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea are probably stronger - spurs will be a pain for them to get past too. @PrincessVelvet

@Chrisy3 Yeah I'd of been happier winning 0-7 like but it is what it is and respect to Fulham. Like you say they were pretty well organised, they didn't look all that bad on the attack either, on another day they could of been 2-0 up before Liverpool had even woke up, they created a handful of decent chances, took lead twice, caused problems, so yeah all in all can't complain with a point really.

@Burnley123 - you were unlucky to go down and it’s a shame your manager got fired - he was really good , mind you Michael Jackson nearly noon walked his way to safety didn’t he!!?

@Chrisy3 I was against Dyche getting fired but the team improved a lot after he left. We now have Vincent Kompany and he's made a decent start.

@Burnley123 - it’ll be interesting to see how Kompany goes in that league - it’s a tough league the championship, so if he brings Burnley back up at the first time of asking he’d be doing very well.
