U.S. President Donald Trump received the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize on December 5, 2025. FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the award to Trump at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., during the final draw ceremony for the 2026 World Cup.

And he still can’t just get out of his own way and let the tournament go on… not shocking though.

That’s the US government’s fault. FIFA should not have accepted them as a host nation.
