well done lionesses

just like too say well done the the englands woman football team for there victory in todays woman world cup semi final . four good goals what i saw of the match on my lunch break there was a lot of good football now lets hope the can go all the way and beat spain on sunday

I haven't seen any of it this time. Last time around I watched all of the England games . Its just my luck that I have booked to go out for lunch on Sunday.

@RemovedUsername1421548 You obviously haven't even seen the goals of this match. The physical level is obvs not men's football but then (hello!) women have different bodies. The skill and tactical levels are catching up.

I also think that there a re a few coaches in the women's game who would do really well in men's football,

@smiler2012 I watched it too. I've seen a lot of men's football at different levels of the professional pyramid (as a Burnley fan). The skill and tactical level of the women's game is definitely on par with the professional level of the men's game. League One and Two players can't do what these girls can do with a ball.

I don't think Weigman or Emma Hayes would get offered jobs to manage high-level professional men's teams but they would definitely be good enough.

Phil Neville played for Man U and England men's. He was assistant manager at Valencia and head coach at Inter Miami, Weigman has improved this team immeasurably since she succeeded him so why shouldn't she be getting offers from high-level men's teams? Is it still so sacrilegious to have a female boss in this industry?
