Scientifically verified dietary advice

deadgerbil22-25
I like the ones where they have doctor testimonials saying how good the cigarette is. I'm glad science matured and got it's act together to take on those crappy big tobacco companies
m000n22-25, F
@deadgerbil 9/10 doctors recommend our cigarettes!!
Longpatrol31-35, M
@deadgerbil y'know I'd bet most those doctors lived to an old age but the folk who listened to their advice which they(docs) knew was bullshit did not
deadgerbil22-25
@Longpatrol literally no different than pastors etc who tell their followers to do x y z while they themselves live in such a way that's totally antithetical to their teachings
Longpatrol31-35, M
I'm mean when you're shedding half your lung every time you cough so yeah, you'd lose weight 馃槀
m000n22-25, F
@Longpatrol But "It's toasted...no throat irritation - no cough"
SW-User
@m000n You ever tried smoking a Lucky Strike. The first few drags are O.K. but about halfway through you will start to cough up half your lung. 馃槀 馃 馃檪

9 out of 10 doctors recommend cigarettes!*

*when compared to drinking a bottle of bleach
SW-User
@JacksonBlue Why, why would you want to drink bleach? 馃槀 馃ぃ 馃 馃檪
m000n22-25, F
@JacksonBlue Bleach and cigarettes, breakfast of champions
ChipmunkErnie70-79, M
True, very true. Only trouble was the associated cancers, but it DID help keep the weight down.
Namor6941-45, M
Trust the science! 馃槃
@Namor69 the same science that tells us that people came from chimps and that vaccines work. They are always pushing bullshit on people
m000n22-25, F
@Stargazer89 gonna get polio aren't you
cherokeepatti61-69, F
That鈥檚 why my aunt started smoking in the 1940鈥檚. Your body does burn about 300 more calories a day when smoking only because it works hard to try to repair the free radical damages it causes.

It was a total con job but there's actually truth to it. Sort of like the old Coca Cola ads promoting 'vigor.' Yeah. That would be the cocaine in it.
Thodsis51-55, M
That's wonderfully old-fashioned. These days eight out of ten doctors would recommend meth.
chrisCAM
"It's toasted"
I see they took Don Draper's recommendation.
