Big surprise, another Chinese-owned facilities. Warrants for 400 arrests so far. So it’s kind of a big deal. Guess legalizing medical marijuana didn’t cut down on crime after all did it?
What I want to hear are the NAMES of the actual people who employed the "straw owners"...AND their country of origin. THAT will be very, very interesting to me. You say it is Chinese in this instance. Is China the ONLY culprit?
@4meAndyou China is the one that keeps popping up with these crimes. Four people were murdered inside one facility in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. One had Chinese nationals that had escaped because the owner refused to let them leave the premises, they were told they had to stay there 24 hours a day every day of the week. They finally found a way to escape and went to the authorities. Another one had employees that weren’t being paid and were expected to work long hours. They were also Chinese nationals that owned the facility and so were the employees.
@MarineBob the state did it to get revenue but it’s costing them a lot for investigations. If they recover the property and money linked to the drug-trafficking they can recover some of the money that has been spent.
