The smell of weed bothers me
An outside company is remodeling the store I run. Some of the workers smell of weed. Christ, I think I got a contact buzz. Smdh

The residue of your pleasure is smoke containing the smell of pot and enough actual THC to give one a contact buzz. It contaminates the air and pollutes my hair, clothes, and lungs. This takes place without my consent. I also have a pleasure. I enjoy a caramel iced latte. The residue from my pleasure is urine. Would you be annoyed if I stood on a chair and urinated on your head and clothes without your consent?

Oh my goodness, contact buzz. Reminds me of what I read once of police raiding a weed farm in a certain country and they decided to burn the plantation/fields of weed . Unfortunately, the wind blew all of that smoke to the nearest village rendering the inhabitants high and some even got very sick 🤦♀️

I live in a condo building and one of the neighbours below me must be smoking it on his or her balcony, the smell wafts in through my open windows a couple of times a day. It doesn't last long but I have considered reporting it to the condo board. I too smoked it in my youth so I get it but they should be more considerate, not everyone wants their place stinking of weed...

back in my day it had kind of an herbal smell but now the term "skunk weed" is appropriate - they are stronger varieties I'm sure.

Is cannibals legal where you are? It is in New Jersey where I live. I figure it isn't for me but it ain't for me to tell someone else to toke or not toke. Victimless crime / live and let live and all of that.
Metro is steadily moving towards unusable for me for the same reason

@stound the elephant in the room is that the illegality of it (for the USA at least) is that is is a cash cow for government. If you were to dive into the number of marijuana convictions and look at everything from probation fees to fines to community service plus the amount of prison labor outsource to corporations you would probably be astounded by how much money changes hands. That is a big opex budget cut that would make a lot of local municipalities have a heart attack.

@iamonfire696 none of them actually seem to be high. They just take a short break to go outside and smoke a little. That's after already smelling like it first thing in the morning
When I was just out of training in security at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas my trainer and another officer went to one of the hotel rooms to break up a party at 3am. When the door opened after banging on it for a few minutes they were engulfed in a cloud of smoke, about 20 people were hotboxing. My trainer and the other guy got so stoned the dispatcher asked me to drive them to the ER to make sure they were alright and to get tested if it was laced as well. While there they both got the mad munchies and was given all of the prepared sammiches the department kept on hand when patients get hungry during the middle of the night.
