Weed experts unite, why does it taste so bad?
It's legal to buy in Canada, I just got some online but it's so freaking nasty. It tastes like gas or chemicals. Does anyone know why?

Not a weed expert to the extent I can say that I never tried it but I have a neighbor that uses. It smells like a skunk got run over by his place. Here in Canada the oversupply of weed is driving a lot of producers to shut down and scale back. There was a large grow op out by our airport. It was shut down about a year ago. Too much supply and no where near enough demand.
@hippyjoe1955 Yeah, a lot of people got involved when it was legalized, in Canada. Never tried weed hippyjoe? I thought that was required of hippies. 😄

@Angelwarfare that’s a great idea! I always wondered about using bud like that as a tincture just because I never tried thc tincture but it’s supposed to last for ever. Only try it with an electric option though making tinctures over an open flame is extremely dangerous
@userfawkes1105 Open flame? Like a BBQ? I think I saw a recipe to lightly bake it at a lower temp (270 F -something like that) for 40 min then put it in a crockpot with butter. There is a way to cut the smell in the house but I forget the tip. 🥴

@Freeranger lol okay I'll buy from somewhere different. It's not the zigzags though, it's the weed. I also noticed this gasoline type taste in a tincture I bought. It was so freaking nasty. Why would they add something nasty to it?

Most dispensery weed is mid level to be honest.
Also nost of it is low smell piney tasting indica and indica hybrids because that is what sells best since a lot of people don't want to smell like a skunk.
Personally I like sativas that smell like skunk and cat piss in terms of flavor profiles.
