Weed experts unite, why does it taste so bad?

It's legal to buy in Canada, I just got some online but it's so freaking nasty. It tastes like gas or chemicals. Does anyone know why?

There are some edibles that taste pretty good. The other ingredients mask the taste of cannabis.

Yeah, I'm going stick to edibles. I like them more and it's better than inhaling I think.
