They say that people spill the truth about how they feel when they're drunk...

I guess this is true, but it's also something I often wonder about...

Alcohol can change the way you think and feel about certain things, can't it?

Because it can alter your mood and change your perception...
so if people are more frank about how they feel when they're drunk, is how they feel when they're drunk how they usually feel? Or is that altered? therefore the truth doesn't really come out when they're drunk because they usually not like that?

I dunno if I'm making sense lol

but yeah

Alcohol can give either rose glasses or dark glasses. It depends on the person really.

I find that saying a little silly. I think we can all agree that we have done things whilst drunk that arent a reflection of our true selves and said things that we didnt mean

Yes it does. Quiet people become boastful, sensible people become silly, people get aggressive etc. Some people can handle their drink and others cant.

I need to get drunk then talk to one of you and figure out if I’m hiding anything from myself

Alcohol removes boundaries...you stop caring...and just say/do whatever

The stuff makes me depressed AF so I stay away from it.

In lowers your inhibitions. You're more"likely"to tell the truth.
It's true. I have faced that alot. I know this.
Yes, you'll get the truth, but only the drunk truth.
