Started a seven-day steroid pack for my smoke inhalation from my brush fire.

So, this being only day two and the edginess has not set in yet. But I wanted to warn you all around day five through seven I will get a bit grumpy and edgy.

Apologies in advance.

We will all try to be as understanding of the meds effects as we possibly can be.

I get cortisone injections in my knees, and the last time was sent to the ER to check for blood clots in my legs. THAT involved deep, painful tissue massage NEAR my knees, and the cortisone was actually pushed UP into my body, where it is normally trapped inside my knees.

I had that irritability which you fear...AND I had an allergic reaction in my freaking FACE, which turned bright red on one side. I hope that doesn't happen to you!

@4meAndyou Thank you and bless you.

Yeah, I have had these packs before, and I know I get grumpier as the regimen plays out.

@swirlie Please do not take my replies as negative, I am trying to answer your questions as honestly as I can.

I see! ...and yes, you made your point very honestly as well! No crime, no pricy taxes, no HOA fees, no city ordinances either, just lots of wood, lot of brush, lots of food and no ugly fire hydrant stuck in the middle of your front lawn with it's pricy city water feeding it either. I definitely see your point and yes, you probably would have lost your whole property if it weren't for that leaf blower. I'm in, where do I sign?
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@swirlie LOL. I never for the life of myself thought I would buy a leaf blower, and I own a hardwood forest farm, but watching her firewoman kick butt with Her's that is definitely on my list as well as a snow blower.

Sign in a PM, LOL
