Do getting braces hurt

I remember a friend saying it hurt when they tighten them.

Maybe don't get them, overbites can be kinda attractive.

I think they have changed a lot but I remember alter they were on my teeth were often sore.

Sometimes the braces cause your teeth to ache a little bit...especially after they tighten them...which happens about once a month. When they are first installed, it CAN hurt your gums a little bit...but that subsides.

Yes, they do hurt from what i was told.

If they are the traditional metal wraplings and wire on them, YES.

It's the wire being tightened which does a bit of it.

The head gear is also an instrument of torture.

Not really - they are a bit uncomfortable but they don't really hurt. You get used to it.

I heard they can but i never had them..

I would see if invisible line would be better choice
