@helsbels I take flossing very seriously bc when I was a kid I never flossed and got cavities BETWEEN my teeth. I didn't even know that was possible. 😭
Why: Because most toothpaste has FLOURIDE in it. If you use mouthwash AFTER brushing, it reduces or eliminates/diminishes the amount of fluoride that is deposited on the teeth surfaces when you brush.
BTW: rinsing your mouth with water after brushing does the same thing.....
Brushing then mouthwash to start the day, plain old brushing alone before going to bed -- unless you;re having company in bed, then finish with the mouthwash again.
I think that if you mouthwash after brushing it rinses away any plaque defence from the toothpaste.Mouthwash really has little dental benefit,its just to freshen your breath per se.
