Do you think a lot of people now choose to be single?

Maybe they would like a partner but they look at their choices and think, "screw this".

@Torsten There’s a percentage of them who would rather say “I chose this” then address something about them that makes them entirely incompatible to most people. For others it’s different. But for some the lie is easier to tell them to address whatever the issue is.

@WintaTheAngle when you put it that way. I agree with you. I am sure a lot lie to themselves when being single, but there are others who are far happier being single and others who have had such shit relationships in the past that being single now is a blessing

How is it a [b]lie[/b] to say you "chose” to be single, if you are in fact [b]choosing[/b] not to address whatever makes you incompatible with others ? Not facing the issues one knows they have would be a conscious choice, wouldn’t it ? 🤔
