Every day I have to choose between taking a bus so full that there's not even space for a needle or walking all the way in the 3pm heat

Same. I take train instead of bus where each compartment carries two times more people than its capacity. And I almost always end up with the super fat guys. Surviving there is an achievement. ☹️

Those buses are Covid spreading devices. I highly doubt I got Covid from having to use one after a Metro station elevator broke down.

Always thought riding the city was was kinda interesting. Perspective wise, no other situation really contains that diversity of life stories.

I imagine they smell really delightful in the summer too with all those bodies packed inside like sardines.

A choice between random peoples body heat and heat of the sun....lol. For me it would be a cap, a bottle of water in hand and I'll walk.

Choose wisely. Life on earth as we know it hangs in the balance.
