One item I had to return. They sent a UPS driver to send a sticker, to put on the original box, that I had taped up myself. As soon as they received the item, they refunded my money back onto my card.
The process was mostly over the phone, with customer service.
Oh! Be absolutely sure you remove any stickers on the box. They really did stress that point.
If there's a bar code, on the box, be sure to mark it over with a black or dark colored marker. Like the permanent sharpie type markers.

@DeWayfarer that ups sticker thing is new to me. When I shipped a package for eBay stuff, I pay for the shipping label to print out and tape on the box. (Sticker wasn’t necessary; just print and cut out the shipping label, tape it on the box, then drop it off to a carrier.) For that one Amazon return I did, I remember picking a carrier site like ArtieKat mentioned, showed them a QR code on my phone, they printed the sticker on site, and shipped it off.

@SW-User I had no means to print it from online. And why I was forced to call customer service.
As to UPS, they are the only one authorized here to handle Amazon products.
There's very little here. I have no means of transportation either. This is a desert community.
Better to say a deserted community! 😖
Lots of stores have permanently closed.

There are a few things that aren't returnable, but they do give a full refund for it... things like food items. Just don't wait too long, most items have a return-by date for a full return.
Also, there are some items that are not returnable and not refundable... you have to deal with the manufacturer. Read before you buy.

Yes. I have only returned stuff once or twice but the money was back in my bank account within days - and there was no charge for return shipping. When you inform Amazon you need to return an item they send you a code when you pick which office you are going to attend. Simples!

Go to the online order. And request refund
Print label
Put item in box and affix label to box
Take to post office
I think I received full refund on my returns or pretty close

@Jenny1234 in the US you can’t take it to the post office. I tried that but they told me I have to go to the UPS store or drop off which can be anywhere like CVS.
I received an order from Amazon in one of those bubble wrap envelopes they use. It was only heat sealed about halfway across the top and the item I had ordered was missing. The picture they sent by e-mail when it was delivered showed that the envelope was obviously empty (on arrival).
I immediately started a return and printed out the paperwork. Got the replacement item a few days later and took a copy of the paperwork asking for a replacement item and the empty envelope to KOHLS (accepts returns for Amazon) and turned it in at the customer service desk.
EZ peezy.....

Just about always, yes. I do 90%+ of my shopping through Amazon and returns are easy peasy. 😁

@ArtieKat Nope. Just bring it and whatever's left of the box and they will take it. It's crazy how easy they are with returns.

I never have done it personally, but I did do it for eBay returns. You should get a full refund, except maybe shipping fees? As others have said, you need to process the return and follow the instructions. Do all the packing, tape it up, etc… My brother usually took his returns to Whole Foods, which they will take for you.

@SW-User Ty so much. 🪻

@Coralmist np! I think I’ve returned a pair of shoes to Amazon actually. Go through with the returns on their websites or app, pack the items, and then they should give you a QR code that you can have on your phone or print out, which you can take to a carrier like usps or even directly to wholefoods customer service. It’s ezpz. You can always reach out if you need further assistance.

I have Amazon Prime and if I were you, I would just call them directly and ask instead of depending upon someone here to steer you straight.

I just phone them , they sent a return sticker and give a full return

They give a full refund . Print the label, it will tell you how to do it. I have a printer so it’s easy. Also, some things you don’t have to return and they will refund you like food, toothpaste or something like that. Go to any place that has UPS drop off like CVS. I started going there because it’s closer than the UPS store. I hated driving there soo badly.

@Coralmist I know I'm sorry. I don't even remember posting this. I had a bad day and one to many shots of whiskey. It was 3am and I couldn't sleep no matter what I tried. It doesn't excuse my rudeness. I hope you can forgive. I wasn't in a good place when I posted this.

@Cigarguy101 Ty Cigar ..I appreciate that. 🌞

Go to Accounts And Lists in the top right corner. Go to your orders. The orders you have placed should have a return or replace items button. Click that and follow the instructions. I have had to return stuff and from what I remember they refund or credit your account.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
It’s easy to do online. Like a few other commenters have mentioned so I won’t repeat.
