@LunarOrbit You never know what gets worn and returned to retail stores any more. I worked in a Walmart and it happens, but I know it happens in other stores too, including mall stores. I heard a sorority girl talk about how her roommate didn’t want to spend a lot of money on clothes for social functions (and they have dress codes they expect them to adhere to) so she’d go to the mall and buy some nice dress or other outfit and carefully remove the tags, wear it and return it. She said she was friends with a girl that worked in one of the stores and she had a device that could snap the price tags back on like they were when she bought the clothes. And since she didn’t wear a ton of perfume there was no lingering smell of that on them.
@LunarOrbit I agree with you on, Underwear, Toothbrush, Pillows, and Sheets, but Combs can be washed out with ammonia and T-shirts can be thoroughly washed. As many thrift stores as I have been to over the years, I have never, ever seen dentures for sale at a thrift store.
