I was in a mainstream supermarket (Tesco) last week for over an hour while I ate my lunch, and I counted up the number of women I saw wearing skirts. I must have seen over several hundred women in there doing their shopping.
Total number of women wearing skirts? One. (And she looked like some business rep grabbing a bite for lunch.)
This is not untypical, even in warmer weather. Women simply prefer not to wear skirts for everyday wear. They’re reserved for special occasions (parties, weddings, etc)

I find the majority of women wear tight leggings or tight fake leather trousers.
And while I do appreciate women in skirts, leggings or trousers that leave nothing to the imagination get my vote every time😁
