I wouldn't agree this is the best way, but it does apply sometimes. Not every thing is about having the power, but experiencing it truly and resolving it. Sometimes there is no resolution though.

I have to agree, sometimes it’s just best , knowing you did your best, and are moving on.

I did this with an ex friend. I told him that i am dead to him and that he will never hear another word from me. The only thing that we will ever have in common again is being under the same sky. And i never looked back he texted me a few times even asked me for money i didn't even respond.
