Should I Stay or Leave?"

I post mostly for myself. It helps clear my head and calm myself after I write it out and reread it.

But I am so grateful for the amazing people here that do take the time to comment on my post. It helps a lot and I really do look forward to hearing from people on here when I need advice or just a calm down you will be ok.

Similar Worlds claimed to be like Experience Project. When I was on the Experience Project, it was a support group, so one would think this place would be too. *shrugs* It isn't. I guess, after I left the site , Experience Project went downhill, and became alot like this site. It really is a pity. As a support site, Experience Project was incredible. Similar World could be too. Que Sera, Sera😔

I don't interact much here because I don't look for much support here. I have learned my lesson over the many times I have joined this site and left again. Many people are incredibly cruel just for the fun of it. 🤔

However, I have found a few people who are very kind and helpful. Maybe you just need to give this place some more time. Still, if it is really getting you down, please do whatever it takes to make yourself ok. 🤗

May I kindly point out that nowhere does SW claim to be a 'support group' per se? You may find people, in time, who understand some shared experience, but as others have said, that takes time. My own experience is that true support can never be found on the internet, only distracting pleasures.

There are people on here who can support you privately.

I was on SW, till it got full of kids.

Unfortunately SW isn't a support group. If you need help then I would recommend that you seek face-to-face interaction via relevant groups close to home.

I am not sure why you would ask for an opinion or advice from the very group you are considering leaving. If you are here for support & answers ....wouldn't you be better served getting involved with an actual mental health professional??? People on here in these forum are often as messed up or more so than you are ....just how do you think that's going to work out?

I've come to find out that this place is what you make it.

for the most part, i get out of this group what i put into it. and it doesnt happen overnight. it takes awhile for people to become comfortable talking to you.

This site is not a support group. But you can jot down your thoughts over here and get onslaught of messages which might lift you up.
