It’s interesting. The whole, “what is art? “ debate has been around for a long time, but I think, with the boom in AI images and filters, to preserve ’art’, particularly for the art community’s sake, some sort of definition will have to be finally generally agreed upon (‘ar’t vs. images). It hasn’t really been necessary before because, as competitive as the art world is, no one was debating the artistry it took to draw/paint, hyper realism, surrealism, etc..and nobody wanted the validity of their own art being undermined like it was during classical art periods. Digital art was an issue for a while, but even that get some slack because you had have some skill with the Photoshop software. If the art community doesn’t finally fight for a distinction then it will fade away as mostly a relevant now that it’s so easy for anybody to create high quality, conceptual images in any style that pleases them.
@BabyLonia I have always enjoyed your posting this on your previous name. But I’ve been hearing things, about a plan to help me introduce see otters, to the Oregon coast part of the original native range. I have certainly seen river otters in the coastal Rivers. I like otters Apparentlyyou do to Heard anything? I suppose I could just Google it but I like people as source’s
@BabyLonia I think that’s my interest, the Oregon coast is once home to see otters in abundance. Since they were lost due to the fur trade, the balance between kelp, and the creatures that feed on that help has been altered. So this would not be an introduction, but a re-introduction. The otters help control the population of those creatures that eat the kelp. In California where there is still a healthy population that balance is clear. No I am not always optimistic about attempts to repair ecological damage, recently we’ve had some good success. In Oregon for instants a number ofPrairie and open grass land plants have been removed from the endangered species list due to careful stewardship of that natural environment
@SatyrService reintroduction is different. That would be awesome

Fakes are always caught out. When I moved to Germany there was a guy there who claimed to have played professionsl football, even though he was rubbish. The player he claimed to be was just namesake who, unfortunately for him, went to my school.

You know, I saw that a while ago but didn't say anything when I saw he posted that bottom one as one he took. Was going to ask him about it but didn't.
@BabyLonia some people are really lazy in their deceit. But then again, some victims are even lazier in their information consumption, so the deceitful people don't have to be more convincing.
