It's just a person who is sure of their position states it, listens to any opposition and doesn't stress about the absurdity of what other people say. If you don't agree it quickly descends to abuse (usually) but a sigma does not care.
I have occasionally adjusted my view point if I hear a good argument but it's only a slight adjustment.

@CardiacKintsugi examples are people like Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro who end up in front of hostile audiences, I'm trying to think of a female version, possibly Riley Gaines even though it didn't end well for her. That was more because the university condoned the actions of some of their students who turned out to be thugs but I'm sure she knew before saying her piece that there would be some dissention to her comments.
