I think a lot of societal ill these days is caused by people allowing the perfect to be the enemy of the good.

So many people refuse to recognize when things are improving or when something good is happening of it isn't exactly how they want things to be. There's a lack of tolerance for little flaws and a lack of patience for improvement over time. We want everything to be perfect right now and anything less means the world is awful.

We, as a society, need to slow our roles and actually take stock of what good is around us.

You are correct.. And it doesnt help that we cant agree what the "perfect" is to start with.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I do not think that level of agreement is even possible let alone desirable. One of the reasons we can even have trouble reaching good is because so many assume their own perfect would be everyone else's as well.
