Is an activist really an activist if they walk out on an argument?

Yes. They can be committed to a cause while realizing they are wasting their time with an argument with someone, or they have other things to tend to in their life

Some people take it to extremes and have set themselves on fire to prove how serious they are, but 99% of people aren't going to do that and they aren't any less of an activist bc of that

Some people keep digging themselves into a hole and oftentimes you just can't save them. So it's better for them and you to just give up until they have a life changing paradigm shift.

a real activist is rare.
todays activists are rent a rables from open society cults..
