I Have Been Extremely Lonely For Far Too Long

It's difficult for me. But at the same time, it's easier.
Coming home after a crazy day, wishing I had a friend to vent to. Who truly listens.
Missing that feeling of caring and listening to someone.
But at the same time, not wanting to get taken advantage of by caring too much.
At the same time, wanting to make sure I make enough time for myself and my responsibilities.
It's like I'm asking for a lot, but at the same time, I'm really not.
