I have been alone a long time. I hope you won't be

You're a nice, stable person, so I doubt you will be alone for the rest of your life.

Even if you are, you get used to and it can be just as fun. It's gonna be what you make it and you're worried because you do have so much potential, you know you'd be good with someone.

But being alone isn't the worst.

I’m sorry my friend, once you’ve done some healing put yourself out there, you have a fun, great personality and I know you’ll meet someone new.

It's strange because in our youth, everyone was grabbing for our time and attention all the time. We just wanted some time alone to sort out our thoughts or do something just for ourselves. But then at some point, the world forgets we are even here.

We find out that this "being left alone" isn't so great after all.

This is the stage of life that people don't talk about. Health slowly falling apart, being alone often, not wanting to think about the future...

I guess this doesn't help. I am just saying that apparently this loneliness situation is normal as we get older. Even people that are partnered or whatever feel it often.

Why? What is the part that scares you? Falling down the stairs? Or not having someone to talk to?

I hope you find what you’re looking for and may you find a reason to smile again. Just be patient and hopeful.
