Does everyone get lonely from time to time, or just bored?

Maybe because I’m introverted and can’t constantly dedicate my time and energy to other people
Maybe people take this as a sign I’m not interested at all
I’ve been selfish, felt like my friends weren’t the friends I deserved, and pushed them away. I sorely regret this, and it’s made me lonely as I’ve gotten older
With romantic relationships the same thing, I just fantasize about people I’m emotionally and physically attracted to, while ignoring potential parents that did not conform to some ideal
I have social anxiety, so I often am awkward in social situations, don’t use the right tones, make an appropriate amount of eye contact, little nervous ticks, make strange expressions facial expressions, I can’t express emotion that well so people have told me I seem disinterested
I have interests that don’t align with that of most people, so even finding something to talk about that’s not highly superficial is difficult
Sometimes i find it intimidating to contribute to conversations, because of how what I say might be judged
So I remain silent or give generic responses which I’m sure bores people to tears
A lot of it is my own doing
I’ve spent a lot of time looking back abs pondering about how I got where I am

I think most everyone gets both from time to time.

I’ve felt lonely my entire life
And will likely continue to do so
Even though I’ve had family and acquaintances at varying points in my life
I’ve never been able to make more or a superficial connection to other people

Why do you think a lot of people are on here! Its one or the other

Loneliness is its own mental illness and one I have had a good deal of experience with.

No. It's a permanent feeling

I'm always lonely, I've gotten used to it so much I don't mind it. I'm occasionally bored but not often.
