I'm trying to stay positive, pero..

I was denied travel to US, and won't be able to see my family there🙃 I have a family member that's sick, and really wanted to go see her.. The fact that they think anyone wants to "stay" in the US at the moment is a joke 🙃

Also.. They told me I'm welcome to reapply when my situation changes, but wouldn't tell me the reason I was denied or what needs to change 😂 - that "sweet lady" was a b**** tho.. She didn't even ask me any real questions "oh, you going to visit family? denied" pendeja.

I actually got so upset I had a panic attack and cried to the security guard 🥹 The poor man didn't know what to do or how to react 😂 Which is ridiculous cause I never cry in front of people, and I'm usually really good at handling my anxiety in public, but the shock kinda overwhelmed me I guess..

Anyways, I feel a little bit better, just sad that I probably won't make it in time to see her💔 And really can't see why I'm not allowed to see family.. 🙃

@Wizardry Everything happens for a reason🥹

Sorry about the craziness in the US.

Given what ICE is doing to people, it is probably safer for you not to be here.
Cassieee · 31-35, FNew
@Neoerectus I know, just figured that seeing them was worth the risk, but 🤷🏼‍♀

@Cassieee I wish your family member well. I hope if they pass, it is not traumatic, but peaceful and with loved ones nearby.

I'm sorry uncoerced free will is not an option in these parts, no longer. Try again. Actually, don't try again.

The United States is no longer accepting visitors old or new under the current administration.

@Levenrack but, what is happening does make us look like laughing stocks
Levenrack · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 Oh no doubt.... the state of things were bad, but now? No chance. Complete downward spiral and I ain't talking about the NIN album.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Levenrack i used to be able to recruit staff i needed from out of the country after proving i tried and failed. Those visas are essentially gone.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
So sorry, i am not defending my country, but it seems there is something you are not telling us.
Your name probably came up on some list. It could be anything and completely unrelated to you, but the security guys don't care, easier to deny entry. Next.

@MisterBander My mom think it's cause I'm not working full time, so they see it as a risk that I might just stay there🙃 But I'm not working full time cause of injury, so definitely wouldn't move there while I'm getting weekly treatments for free here😂
@Cassieee Maybe you will live there, get free healthcare, free food, and a pension from the government and then start buying land all over the country and taking away jobs.
