Who decided that "wife swap" should be a tv-show..

I think the people who do the finding of families and looking for opposites did a great job when I watched.

Like, I wanted a behind the scenes of how they do their casting findings and reviews, as that seemed like they did a very high quality job.

I remember watching that show, once. An OCD stick-up-the-rear-end wife who had regimented every minute of her children's days swapped for a sassy, fun-loving slob!!! And boy did that slob have a hard time getting the OCD husband and the OCD-in-training children to relax and have a little fun now and then!

I totally understand what you’re saying. I never really watched the show, but I always wondered if any marriages broke up in the aftermath because someone liked the "swapped" wife better.

I also think it's weird.

Although I'm fine with it if she brings anti-inflammatories and painkillers right now. 🥰

I have not seen the show but since it is on TV I presume it is quite tame. What is the intent of the show? To swap wife's but essentially just insert a different person into each role for the daily grind excluding bedroom activities?

I presume they are trying to swap opposites personality types, back grounds, or more to stir up drama? Just what every marriage needs. More drama. 😂

I was flipping through and saw a show with a girl who supposedly has Tourette syndrome, her tic was saying outlandish things and swearing.... So fake it hurt my head.
