I'm starting a 30-day challenge that I made up, to better myself.

So just letting y'all know that in 30 days I'll be unstoppable.

Also, I'm getting an x-ray and consultation this week, to maybe remove the metal from my arm.. Has anyone done that before?🥹 I have metal in my arm after this dude crushed my elbow.

I have metal in my arm, and I opted to keep it there.

I broke my elbow. I had extensive surgery. After the cast was removed, I could not bend my arm at all. The doctor explained that this was due to scar tissue created by the surgery.

So I underwent occupational therapy and I faithfully did exercises, and gradually my mobility returned.

When the doctor asked about removing the plates and screws, I said, "That's more surgery. More scar tissue. Afterwards, could I have less mobility than I have now?"

He said it was very possible. He also said there was no downside to leaving the metal in place.

So it is still there . I have no regrets

@DrWatson Except that you can never have an MRI again if you should need one. 😢

@4meAndyou I've had MRI several times over the last year🥹 It's not an issue.
@DrWatson That's crazy.. I couldn't stretch out my arm after taking off the cast, but after 30 days of rehabilitation it was a lot better.. Now it's fine, but i still have pain, specially when it's cold..

@Cassieeeee They always ask me it I have any metal internal parts before putting me in the MRI machine.
