A Question for the Divine

There is a question that has long occupied my thoughts.
When those whose hearts are filled with deceit, falsehood, and malice stand before God, does He not perceive their true nature? And if He does, what becomes of it?
Does He still listen to their prayers and grant them His favour? Does He offer them guidance and mercy? Or does He dispense justice according to what lies hidden within their hearts?
Or perhaps He does nothing at all, choosing instead to remain silent whilst allowing the consequences of their actions to unfold in their own time.
It is a question that returns to me time and again, and one for which I have never quite found an answer.

I believe God gave me a scripture verse whilst I was reading this. Its from Ezekiel 36:26 "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you, I will remove from you, your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh"

@PatientlyWaiting25 Ezekiel was a Hebrew priest. It was he who gave you the verse.

God’s goodness and righteousness cannot be compromised.

But His other attributes of love, and grace and mercy, enables Him to reach out to us, through the receptive work of Jesus on the cross.

Think of the Parable of the two sons. The prodigal came to the Father for all the wrong reasons, yet the Father ran to meet him.

Perhaps the eternal silence of God is never indifference....

Bur Timeless patients giving every soul the chance to face itself....before it must face Him.
this timeless ambiguity from a theoretically omnipotent entity with the ability to immediately eliminate all ambiguity in the minds of BILLIONS of people all at once is your first, timeless clue that this entity is timelessly non-existent and has been completely manufactured by primitive patriarchy-biased males in the eastern Mediterranean millennia ago

(furthermore, such an entity wouldn't need this human middlemen layer at all, and certainly not Iron Age goat herders)

@SnickersDOM I always come back to that..if you are all knowing , all loving and omniscient, why on earth are SO SO SO many people suffering endlessly??? 🙁 When I read a quote in the Bible about how it's ok to beat your wife, it hit me right there .a loving God would Never say or teach any aspect of that. But MAN. Would 😟
