Do you always go back to your hometown?

I sold my mother's house when she died.

I miss the place but don't wanna go back there due to family feud and bad memories.

I moved back to my home town in November 2022. I miss the home where I was before as most of my married life and where I raised my children was in that house. We needed to move but this house has never felt like home like the other house did.

Nope. To crowded now. I grew up when it was barely a city. Lots of agriculture was still around. There's simply none of that left.

It's all buildings and houses. And the actual place, even the ground was removed for a apartment complex.

@DeWayfarer WOW! very long time! I was there in mine this January, celebrated New Year's there.

My first tine to visit the newest and biggest mall. The residential areas are still the same with vast fields around them.

Still nostalgic. I guess, I went there for the farewell.

@1sakuradoll08 Orange county got it's name from its very orange groves.

Now there simply isn't any type grove in the whole county.

It wasn't just the city. It was the whole county.

@1sakuradoll08 Yeah .... that was where I felt most connected to sunrises .... the no need ever to see sunrises again kind of high quality sunrising viewings then .....:)
