Not wanting Christmas presents means they're entitled? I mean sure they get stuff now in days regardless of Christmas but doesn't mean they're entitled. All that means is that stuff is easily accessible now. My cousin was a teen when he started making avatars online and he can make them for 200 dollars sometimes. Kids are smart now in days, I don't think it equates to being spoiled though.
People living better and comfortable is a sign of progress, that's bound to happen. Christmas becoming obsolete is just more of a sign of a technological age than anything else.
I would say entitlement is more of an attitude, for me, kids can get what they want all year long as long as they don't have an attitude. Once they do though, that is when it starts. But you never know if the kids are working or doing other things.
It's just more of a sign that everything is more available rather than reading by candlelight anymore.

@SatanBurger I see all too many parents give in to whining and tantrums. They act like it's an obligation to give their bratty kids whatever they demand.
