Do people believe sending the angry emoji will make one repentive?

Most of the time I let it go, especially if someone is just "out to get me" and looking for a reaction. I had one user, who I thought had nothing against me, not only angry emojid my post, but went to my profile and angy emojid about a dozen of my previous posts. I said nothing and after a while that user started to engage on my posts again. 🤷‍♂️

No one has sent me the angry emoji yet... and I don't use it myself. I seldom get that upset over anything here.

I haven't decided whether to use it sarcastically or seriously. I think it's more sarcastic for me.

I love it when my friends give it to me. I do a little dance and it makes them laugh.

I thought it was the emotion that was evoked. Just like when we laugh.

I dont think people use it when angry, they use it when joking.

The emoji takes the sting out of an angty message

The only emojis I care are the positive ones which mean that somebody more or less agrees with me and there is little to add. The others angry, disapprove, whatever don't mean anything without a supporting argument 🤷🏼‍♂️

Angry emoji means anger. 🤷‍♀️ Could be that you disagree with the comment or that the topic makes you angry.
